Survived by her daughter Jean Warner; sister-in-law Gladys Salisbury; grand & great-grandchildren including Linda Warner Osborn who cared for her grandmother for 6 years; nieces & nephews. LaRoche,Joyce Ann (MacDonald) 77, Rochester:  entered into eternal peace on Sunday, December 29, 2013,  She is predeceased by her parents Marion and William MacDonald, her husband, Ernest L. LaRoche, Sr. and her daughter, Deborah (LaRoche) Ramsaur. She is survived by her loving companion  William (Bill) Grimm, her sons and daughter-in-law: Ernest L. (Jerlynn DelMonache) LaRoche, Jr. and David LaRoche, her grandchildren: Ann Ramsaur, Brian Ramsaur and Lauren LaRoche, many nieces and nephews and treasured friends. Coleman, Glen H.; Rochester: Passed away peacefully on December 28, 2013. Predeceased by his wife, Theresa Filipi Lentine; step-son, Samuel J. Lentine. Russo, Errico J. "Zeke"; Rochester: Sunday, December 1, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Bianchi) Russo; children; Denise (Jim) Guarnieri, John (Nicole) Russo, David Russo, June Marie Russo and Mary Beth Russo; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister; Frances Bovi; many nieces and nephews. Most known by his nickname "Zeke", Mr. Russo was a veteran hero of 3 wars, serving in WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He retired as a Sr. CPO from the US Navy. Interment, private.

Cortese, Gail A.; Leesburg, FL/Rochester, NY: Saturday, November 16, 2013 at age 67 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Jean Gabrych. Survived by her sons, Charles Cortese and Patrick (Erin Culver) Cortese; stepchildren, Joseph (Emma) Cortese and Michael Cortese; father of her children, Joseph Cortese (Barbara DeCarlis); grandchildren, Giovanni, Lucia, Joseph, Heather, Shannon and Gianna; great-granddaughter, Adriana; brother, Bob (Jean) Gabrych; sister, Joanne (Randy) Malone; several nieces, nephews, cousins. Gail worked for Eastman Kodak Co. for 33 years where she retired. She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time on the water.

Kasper, Louise V.; Rochester: Passed on August 24th, 2013 at age 65. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary & Albert VanCampen. Fichera, Sebastian Joseph, Brighton: Died peacefully on his 93rd birthday, August 18, 2013, after a long illness.  He was born in 1920 in Rochester, N.Y. the only child of Joseph Paul and Ignazia Fichera.  A graduate of Aquinas Institute and Niagara University he served in the army during WWII, returned to Rochester where he worked as the bookkeeper for Saucke Brothers Construction Co. for about 30 years.  Sebastian was a leader in his family, church and community. In addition to S. Natalie Finocchiaro, his loving wife of 65 years, he is survived by a daughter, Virginia Mary Fichera, of Sterling, NY and a son, Joseph Sebastian Fichera, of New York City. Interment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery.

Spiotti, Louis V.; Greece: August 18, 2013 at age 98. Predeceased by his wife, Antoinette T. "Ann" Spiotti. Louis is survived by his children, Mary Louise Spiotti-Frank, Louis W. (Lynn) Spiotti; grandchildren, Christopher (Erica) Frank, Lisa (John) Carron, Kristen (Michael) Tompkins; great-grandchildren, Juliana Frank, Ian Frank, Dylan Tompkins, Drew Tompkins, Alexandra Carron; several nieces & nephews. Morinelli, Joseph J.; Rochester: Passed peacefully Thursday, July 4, 2013 at age 89. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Deborah) Morinelli; grandchildren, Joey (Nicci Morante) Morinelli, Talia Morinelli; great-grandson, Luca Morinelli; sister-in-law, Bessie Morinelli; brother-in-law, Bill Kaufman; along with numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend and caregiver, Carol Massey. Joseph was a United States Army veteran who served his country during WWII, a retiree of the United States Postal Service after 32 years and a member of the American Legion. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who made the greatest spaghetti sauce and will be sadly missed by all. Staub, Richard J., Gates, NY: On July 3, 2013. Predeceased by his wife, Theresa J. of 67 years and son, Dennis S.; He is survived by his son, Stephen R.; several nieces & nephews, including Trapist Monk; brother, Anthony Weber; special family friend, Beth Sulli.

Piedici, Karen, Greece: April 22, 2013. Predeceased by her parents, Salvatore & Julie (Palermo) Piedici. Survived by her brother, Patrick (Debbie) Piedici; nephews Patrick (Andrea) Piedici Jr, Christopher (Katie) Piedici; Anne Messina; Twinc; Sheila; Laurie; great-nephew, Caden; great-niece, Kyla; several aunts, uncles, cousins, Godchildren & extended Godchildren, and many dear friends. Clohessy, Richard "Dick", Rochester: Passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at age 78. He is predeceased by his wife, Courneen Clohessy; brother-in-law, William Duffy. Survived by children, Lawrence, Kathleen & Sharlotte Clohessy; 7 grandchildren, Jason Clohessy Sr., Shawn Hamill, Christina Hamill, Casey Clohessy, Brendan Clohessy, Shane Clohessy, Meaghan Hamill; 3 great-grandchildren, Jason Clohessy Jr., Ryan DeMocker, Kaitlin Malony; sister, Doris Duffy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces & great-nephews.  A Thank You to a very special friend, Winola Baurbonnais, for her loving care and deep friendship, along with many friends from the Otis Del, where Dick was "The Mayor of The Del". Also a thank you to the Blossom Road Hospice Care and the staff on the 3rd floor for all their care and support. Dick was a veteran of the Marine Corps, and had retired from RIT college after 21 years.

Medero, Evangeline “Vangie” Rochester: Went home Sunday, March 3, 2013 at age 51. Predeceased by her son, Manuelito. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Salomon Montesdeoca; children, Yaleida (Christopher) Harris, Jose “Chiri” Ferrao, Jorge “Cuco” Oropeza, Malena Montesdeoca, Eddie Montesdeoca; 7 grandchildren; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Mugavero, John M. Rochester: Feb. 16, 2013, at age 88. Loving and devoted husband. He is predeceased by his daughter, Dianne; brothers, Joseph (Ann) and Louis (Terry). He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jeanette; his children, Chester (Donna), Robert, Barbara (Joe) and John; grandchildren, Joey (Shannon), Johnny (Kristi), Gina (Dale), Daniel, Patrick, Sheila & Paulette; many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; his brother, Christopher (Josephine); sisters, Santa Barbara (Howard) & Mary (Joseph-deceased); several nieces & nephews. John was a cook in the Navy during WWII, a retiree from Kodak and Tuts Restaurant and was a bus driver for First Student. He loved golf, cruises and his trip to Europe, dancing & music.  Private Interment.

Bess, Marianne (Villa), Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on February 11, 2013, at age 68. Predeceased by parents Dominick and Theresa Villa. Survived by her loving husband, Ron, of 38 years; children, Elizabeth (Frank Stockmeister), Kathryn and Ron Jr.; sister, Linda (Robert) Ryan of Fayetteville, NY; nephew, Robert Ryan III of Jupiter, FL and niece, Melissa (Ian) McBride of Geneseo and their children; mother-in-law, Constance Bess of FL; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Melody and Larry Spaulding of Horseheads and their children; many devoted cousins, including special cousin, Mary Makowski; and several godchildren. Giglio, Helen T., Rochester: Helen Teresa (Ferera) Giglio, 77, began her beautiful journey home on Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born to the late Alexander and Eva Ferera, August 8, 1936, in Rochester, N.Y. She married the late Vincent Anthony Giglio in 1956, and was happily married for 40 years before his passing in 1996. In her early years, Helen was an active member of Holy Apostles/Holy Family Schools and Church and most recently volunteered at the Eagles Club Auxiliary #52. She is survived by her four children: Stephen R. Giglio, Deborah A. Donals, Vincent S. Giglio, & Lisa E. Giglio. Also survived by her brother, Charles Ferera; twelve grandchildren; & six great-grandchildren.  Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Wroblewski, Lillian, Rochester: On 11/22/12 at age 93. Predeceased by husband, Matt, Sr. and son, Matt Jr.; Survived by daughter, Mary Esther; "just like daughters", Dawn (Danielle LaPointe) Birch and Marianne (Scott) Wright; also leaves behind daughter-in-law, Vicki; grandchildren, Matthew III (Kerry), Sarah, Luke (Michele); great-grandchildren, Maizy and Ryan; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his wife Anna Ciardi, son-in-law Stanislao Raponi, brother, Ignazio (Lena) Ciardi, nieces, Sue Voelkl & Ann Privitera. He is survived by his devoted children, Anna Maria Raponi, Mauro (Maria) Ciardi, Enzo (Donna) Ciardi, Elsa Ciardi (Gregorio) Sanchez. Hampton, Jeannine, Greece: Jeannine Hampton, the daughter of Donald & Doris DeSantis, born April 22nd, 1961 and passed, on September 23rd, 2012. Jeannine was predeceased by her grandparents, John & Nellie Van Allen, her Uncle Bill Watson & her Aunt Edna Peters. Jeannine is survived by her sisters, Doreen DeSantis, Donna Snyder & Cheryl Biehler (Thom), her brother, John P. Hampton (Mary Beth), Uncle Al Watson (Kay) and Aunt Carol Turnbull. Also survived by her beloved nieces, Erin (Pookie) McMann (Tony Miano), Danielle Anderson, & her beloved nephews, Earl (Scooter) McMann Jr., Joey Snyder, J.J. Hayes, Gerald R. of Gates: was born Thursday  September  23, 1943 and died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at age 67 years, 4 months, 28 days. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Helen Hayes; sister, Mary Ann Hayes and father-in-law, Sam Buonemani. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene (Buonemani) Hayes; children, Terry (Melissa) Hayes and Lee (Gabriel) Venticinque; grandchildren, Madelyn, Sean, Isabella & Gabriel; mother-in-law, Rose Buonemani; sister-in-law, Nanette (Leslie) Stubbe; niece, Kim (Michael) Rucinski; brothers, other relatives and special friend, Susie.  No prior calling hours were held. Valentino, Maurice"Mo" of Rochester was born Sunday  March  11, 1928 and died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at age 82 years, 10 months, 23 days. He was survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances (DiCesare) Valentino; children, Michael (Sherrie) Valentino, Anthony Valentino, Julie (Don) Wolak, Maria (Bruce) Dickens; grandchildren, Angela and Michael Jr. Valentino, Nicole (Jermaine) Roberson, Donny and Emily Wolak, Joey and Anthony Dickens; brother, Anthony (Mary Jane) Valentino; sister, Maryann (Richard) Hubschman of NJ; brothe r-in-law, Michael DiCesare; many nieces and nephews. Antoinette M. Pullano (Lobello)  of Rochester Born Monday  December  19, 1921 in Italy and Died 1/31/2011 at age 89 years, 1 months, 12 days.  She was predeceased by her loving sisters Angela (Leo) Cammillieri and Violet (Ernie) Vetter as well as her only brother Anthony (Joan) Lobello.  Antoinette joined her beloved Tony on angel's wings the night of January 31st. Her treasured children, Fran A. Pullano, Dominick V. Pullano and Rita Pullano were privileged to usher her way to heaven's gates.  A simple woman of quiet talent and family values leaves, in her passing, her adored grandchild Sarah Antoinette Pullano. Her cherished in-laws Joan (Tony) Lobello, Rose (Albert) Pullano, Adriana and Vincent Marino, Frank and Enza Pullano, Michele and Maria Pullano, Evelina and Gianfranco Macor, Guiseppe (Rosina) Pullano and Nicolo and Maria Pullano will sorely miss this generous and devoted matriarch. Lentine, Charles C. of Gates,was born Saturday  August  07, 1926 and died Thursday  January  13, 2011 at the age of 84 years, 5 months, 6 days.  He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Lentine; parents, Samuel & Gerlanda Lentine; son, Samuel J. Lentine; granddaughter, Latasha McQueen. Survived by his children, Phyllis (Steve) Breedlove, Geraldine Watson, Diane (Barry) Grimes, Charles S. (Domenica) Lentine & Rosemary Picardo (Jeff); 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Charles' favorite song was St. Francis of Assisi. His hobbies included fixing things, square dancing, traveling, yard work and gardening. He was a Eucharistic Minister. His passion was mending hearts.

Korleski, Ada  of Spencerport was born Sunday  May  19, 1918 and died Monday  January  10, 2011 at age 92 years, 7 months, 22 days. Predeceased by her son, Fred Mastin. Lanza, Francesca Gates: was born Saturday  June  13, 1925 and died Wednesday  November  17, 2010 at age 85 years, 5 months, 4 days.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.  Predeceased by her husband Antonino Lanza, her brothers Onofrio Pecoraro, Fedele Pecoraro and sister Anna Pecoraro. Survived by her children Nicolo, Giuseppe (Anna), Salvatore, Onofrio, Giorgio (Maria Carmela), Roberto, Mario, Rosalba and Gabriella. John T. Fawkes of Gates was born Friday  June  02, 1916 and died Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 94 years, 5 months, 10 days. Pre-deceased by his wife Flo. Burke,  Alfred E.  of Rochester was born Saturday  July  12, 1930 and died peacefully Monday, August 16, 2010 at age 80 years, 1 months, 4 days.   He is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Amanda Burke; brother, Joseph and sister, Mary. Cerone, Pat S. "PaPa" Greece was born Thursday  March  15, 1934 and died  Friday  August  06, 2010 at age 76 years, 4 months, 22 days. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rose Marie; loving children, Linda (Mike) Sofia, Richard and Jackie Cerone; cherished grandchildren who were the apple of his eye, Michael and Patrick Sofia, and Ryan Cerone; dear sister-in-law, Marge (Henry) Barnickel; brother-in-law, Dom Chiapponi; and sister-in-law, Rosie Cerone; many dear nieces, nephews, friends, and Hockey families. Pat was a devoted husband, father, and PaPa. Verna, Louise (Carpenter) Stewart of Rochester was born Friday  September  09, 1927 and died Monday  April  19, 2010 at the age of 82 years, 7 months, 10 days.  She leaves behind her nephew Saybert Carpenter III and his wife Sharon, her niece Lynn Marie Carpenter, her great-nephew Olanje Carpenter, great-niece Nichole Carpenter-Speller, great-nephew Charles X-Saybert (Chaz) Carpenter, great-great nephew Michael Fudger, great-great nephew Voshon Carpenter, great-great niece Jaide Palmer, her dear friend Amy Doyle and also several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Saybert Carpenter Jr, her father Saybert Carpenter Sr, her mother Margarite Carpenter.

She had been in the convent for 20 years, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement, where Audrey was a teacher of religious education and did social work. She worked for three years with Lourdes Perez-Albuerne for the International Justice and Peace Commission, Diocese of Rochester. Finn, Dina (nee Dolores Ciuffini) age 61 of Rochester: Wed., June 17, 2009. Born March 25, 1948 to Dominick & Domenica Ciuffini (both deceased). She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Finn & Jeremy Stoner. The youngest of 5, she is also survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Ciuffini and Anne F. Dina was a graduate of Saints Peter and Paul, Nazareth Academy and Nazareth College. An employee of the Monroe County Dept. of Social Services for over 30 years, Dina was a long-standing and active member of the Federation of Social Workers IUE-CWA 381. She belonged to Holy Apostles Church, where she enjoyed singing in the folk group. A free spirit at heart, Dina loved traveling, reading, writing, listening to music and singing. She thrived on helping others and teaching from her experience. Along with her beloved family, Dina leaves behind many dear friends, who will greatly miss the love and support she so generously gave.

Donofrio Rochester Police Department - RetiredSergeant Anthony "Tony" Donofrio passed on Wednesday December 17, 2008 at the age of 86.  He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Sister Ann D'Assisi SSJ, Yolanda Ruggeri, Alfred Donofrio, Eleanor (Ted) Piendel, Louis (Sheila) Donofrio, Jane Passino, many nieces and nephews.  Tony retired from the Rochester Police Department as a Sergeant after 37 years of service.  He was a member of the Police Locust Club, Police Rosewood Club, Police Benevolent, and The ARPALER. Patricia Ann "Patty" Lippa Irondequoit: December 6, 2008, at age 64. Now at peace with the Lord, she was surrounded by her family at home, after a brave battle with cancer.
Patricia is survived by her dearest companion, Tom Tosti; brother, John Lippa, along with Stan Kreher; and brother, Louis Lippa; sisters, Ursula Allen and Mary (Richard) Schauseil; longtime family friend, Dick Loiacono; devoted friend, Louis Paolino; nieces, Christine (Julio) Zambrano and Yvonne (Stephen) Schmergel; nephews, Richard and Thomas Schauseil; many other relatives; countless cherished, close friends here and overseas in the teaching, church and medical communities she served with such devotion.
She is predeceased by her parents, to whom she was utterly devoted, Dominic and Lucy Bianchi Lippa; also predeceased by her loving aunts, Aunt Pat Bianchi Pocchiari & Aunt Eva Lippa Barricelli. Patricia was a resident of Charlotte for 30 years. When her house burned down three years ago, she moved to a new home on Irondequoit Bay.
She was an elementary school teacher for 33 years- 27 years at #30 School on Otis Street, near the home on Lyell Avenue where she grew up. Devoutly religious, Patricia was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Apostles Church and close to the St. Cecilia community. For the past 9 years, she was a selfless caregiver to her sister, Ursula.
Born the youngest, Patricia (or "Patty Ann") loved to travel and learn new things. She urged others to be open to "all of life's possibilities" and not waste a moment. She was an accomplished ballroom dancer and liked to cross country ski. She went to Italy on her own to teach English, and traveled frequently to Italy all her life. She frequently visited her family's ancestral village, Villa Valleonga, at the foot of the Abruzzi Mountains, and to shrines and countries the world over.  She graduated from Nazareth High School, received her Bachelor's at Nazareth College, and earned her Master's Degree at Brockport Teacher's College.

John F. Creegan John F. Creegan died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007 at the age of 73. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Kitzel's Sportsman Club.
